How to wear: Topshop Mom jeans

As I live in a pretty rural area of Wales, it's pretty hard to try and follow fashion without having the mickey taken out of you, so I wear slightly toned down versions of what I'd actually like to wear, in the hope nobody will laugh! The notorious mom jeans are something I've wanted to try out for months, but I didn't think they'd go with anything, I didn't think I could pull them off! Being a measly 5ft 2 I don't actually pull much at all off, but I'm always willing to give them a go. So finally, I did it! I finally plucked up the courage to get myself some Mom jeans! The verdict: They're not as hard to style as I thought they'd be! In fact, they've been the only bottoms I've worn for the past few days.

 My jeans are in the shade "vintage" and cost £40

The jeans are a lot more versatile than I thought they'd be, although finding shoes to go with them is proving to be quite difficult! I've put together 3 different looks that could work for you.

Look 1

This look is something I'd probably wear to college or to go out shopping or something similar (practical shoes for shopping!!) This look is perhaps the edgier of all three, with a lot of black and metal detailing such as the silver chain, and studs on jacket & pumps. This look can also be easily dressed up with some studded wedges or something with a platform/heel.

Look 2

This is a very casual outfit, and the oversized bomber jacket & converse gives it a sporty feel. The girly 3/4 floral print top adds a pop of colour and femininity to the outfit, as the mom jeans can look quite masculine.

Look 3

This is more of a 'going out for a few drinks' look, ideal for the when it's quite cold! The fluffy jumper adds warmth, but the cropped length keeps it fun! Ive added some hand of hamsa earrings just to bling it up a bit, and my wedges are comfortable and very easy to walk in, which is always an essential!
